Jacaryna and Green Froditeth
Played By: Chaos
Character Name: Jacaryna
Pronunciation: Jack-a-reen-a
Character Type: Weyrling
Rank: Weyrling
Political Alignment: The Way Things Are. . . maybe
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Sexual Preference: Bisexual but in denial
Appearance:
Jac has hair that is red brown. Oh sure it isn't the blazing red of the majority of her siblings- but there is still red in its mass. She has long hair- not that it is ever out of a braid. Her skin is fair- though she is not prone to freckles. She does however have paler burns on her arms and legs from work in and around the forge. She is an average 5'6 in height and is stockier than one might expect a girl to be. She does not like dressing up- much finding work clothes much more comfortable to wear. Her eyes are a coppery color- like new pennies on earth.
Personality:
Jac does not care much for the frivolity of frills and other girly stuff. She would much rather go for functional and comfort then for ribbons and other more ladylike things. She loves sharp and shiny things however- knives especially- and has a knack for getting a keen edge on a blade. Jac isn't confrontational- she is happy with her place- happy to be working in the apprenticeship she is in. She doesn't see the point in being the loud voice that will get cut down- it is much easier to go with the flow. She loves her siblings- even when she thinks her brother Mac is being a butt.
Birthplace: Fort Weyr
Parents: Father Mac'garyen, Deceased Mother Thajamena
History:
Jac was born into a Fortian family. She is the second youngest child of a deceased bronze rider Mac'gayren and a drudge Thajamena. She was always a solemn child- something which she hasn't ever really grown out of. She grew up in the crèche with her siblings and with the bare minimal contact from her father- her mother however always made certain to see them daily.
It was her mother who, when she was twelve, arranged for her to go into her apprenticeship. Oh sure- it wasn't the most ladylike profession- however her ma did not want her to spend her life scrubbing and drudging for a living. At first she hated working in the forges- it was hot, she was often made the butt of jokes- but she was a hard worker. Even though she will never be seen as good as her male counterparts for the simple fact of her gender, she still does well enough.
When her father died during the plague, Jac threw herself into the craft even more so. She found her love of sharp shiny things- and has even started to gather a collection of blades which were discarded that she has worked on in her own time.
Unfortunately for her however, her apprentice mates convinced her to go along to the last Fort Hatching with them. Half drunk and very unwilling she was found by a green dragonet named Froditeth.
~~Dragon~~
Name: Froditeth
Color: Green
Age: Weyrling
Weyrling Group: Flame Dancers
Appearance:
Froditeth is petite and delicate to look at. Her body is an even green which is marked all over with smudges that, if you look with your head tilted to the side almost look like hearts of different shades and colors. Oh- perhaps if they were straight from a corpse heart with chambers and everything then she would at least look a little intimidating- no- these hearts are the cute cartoon like love hearts which brats and love struck teens tend to draw everywhere. The only differing marking in her camouflage of heart smudges is that of an arrow marking on her foreleg.
Personality:
Froditeth is determined that everything would be so much better if everyone just loved everyone else. She has some rather hair brained schemes that pops into her head on how best to get others to love each other- and who would be best with who- regardless of color. She will pout and sulk when pulled up on her actions and it will often be her rider left to defuse the situation with higher ups when her hair brained schemes fall apart.
