Regarding Arisen Dark: Fort Weyr as a sequel game:
Please see the following mail received 04.08.2012:
To whom it may concern,
As the original owners of the Dark Fort concept, Arolos Weyr has authorized Arisen Dark as the official sequel to this game. As such, Arisen Dark is free to weave into their history and refer to some or all of the events which occurred in Dark Fort history. However, Arisen Dark is not, and will never be, an affiliate of Arolos Weyr and as such the BoD are independent and the Weyr stands in its own timeline.
Please contact us directly with any concerns you may have on this.
Thanks.

As such, Arisen Dark: Fort Weyr has based 'offscreen' game history up until the point of gameplay opening (including population history and several situations and concepts) on the original Dark Fort timeline and on-screen gameplay that occurred within the club's active history. However, we claim *no* intellectual property right to these characters and concepts. Each remain the intellectual property of the creator. Names, places and incidents are used only to ensure smooth splicing of timelines and continuity for characters.
No attempt to God-mode or predict non-active player's characters has been made nor will be made. Non-discussed changes to ranking characters at the time of Dark Fort's closure have been kept to the minimum required to enable future gameplay to occur and have been handled as respectfully as possible.
No character or situation from the original DarkFort game will be used in active club play from the point of opening unless specifically moved to the club, by which the player indicates their willingness to resume the character in the setting and allow active club history with them.
We hope that resolves any question you may have regarding Arisen Dark's use of the setting. Please note that Arisen Dark's in-character use of 'Southern Weyr' can be safely assumed to be synonymous with the use of the phrase 'Arolos Weyr' used in the original game, without in anyway indicating a link between Arisen Dark and the active club of the same name.
